MAY 2023 

EHan Engineering congratulates our founder and president, Dr. Hussien AL-Battaineh, on his election to the position of Vice President/President Elect of Save International, the worldwide governing body for Value Engineering. As a CVS® and long-time SAVE member, Dr. AL-Battaineh brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this important organization. We are proud to support his volunteer efforts in this position and are confident that he will make significant contributions to the field of Value Engineering.

Dr. AL-Battaineh is excited to work alongside incoming President Rob Stewart and the rest of the SAVE Board of Directors to increase membership and ensure that SAVE remains a community of excellence. Together, they will foster a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, best practices, and thought leadership in Value Engineering.

Dr. AL-Battaineh is passionate about Value Engineering. His work has built EHan Engineering into one of Western Canada’s leading consultant firms providing Value Engineering and related services to a wide range of public and private projects throughout Western Canada.

“I am thankful to the SAVE members for electing me to this position. I look forward to working with the membership and the board to promote Value Engineering and SAVE,” said Dr. AL-Battaineh.

Dr. AL-Battaineh will undertake his newly-elected position following SAVE’s 2023 Value Summit, scheduled for June 12-14, 2023.

 

APRIL 2022

EHan Engineering is pleased to announce that John Cairns is joining the company as Senior Drainage Advisor. John is joining EHan after spending 40 years with the City of Edmonton, where he managed major efforts such as the Neighbourhood Renewal Program, the High Priority Repairs Program, and various tunneling projects. Adding John’s deep firsthand knowledge of the field to our team will significantly benefit our projects and our clients; we are extremely excited to welcome John to our team!

JUNE 2021

EHan Engineering is proud to announce that Dr. Hussien AL-Battaineh has been elected Director at the SAVE International®, the premier international society devoted to advancing and promoting the Value Methodology (VM). The Society provides its members education and training, publications, certification, promotional tools, networking and recognition. SAVE also operates a certification program which is globally recognized as the industry standard for competence in the application of the Value Methodology. MAY 2021

EHan Engineering is proud to congratulate Paul D. Specht, CD, P.Eng., CAMP, CAMA, on his recent Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) certification. Mr. Specht earned his certification in May of 2021 through WPiAM (World Partners in Asset Management). This is a significant achievement and underlines Mr. Specht's status as a leader in asset management in Canada.

Byron is a distinguished and highly-respected industrial leader, has overseen dozens of large-scale transportation and drainage projects. JANUARY 2016

Dr. Hussien Al-Battaineh has been appointed Director of Western Canada Region of the Value Analysis Canada. Value Analysis Canada (VA Canada) is a professional society dedicated to the advancement of Value Analysis in Canada. It promotes the application of the Value Methodologies in Canada for the benefit of governments, industry, practitioners and society. JULY 2015

Dr. Hussien Al-Battaineh, President of EHan Engineering, has become a Certified Value Specialist®(CVS®). This is the highest level of certification offered by the SAVE International®. The designation is granted to value specialists who have demonstrated expert level knowledge in value management. This major achievement testifies to our team’s commitment to lifelong learning and our company’s excellence in providing the highest value solutions for our clients.
